Schwimmoper

The municipal baths, built in 1957 and named the Schwimmoper since 2019, are the right place for a relaxing swim. The name came about as a result of the discussion after the war as to whether the old Barmen opera house should be rebuilt or whether a new one should be built at the time on the current site of the Schwimmoper. In addition to its swimming pools, the Schwimmoper also offers various courses or invites visitors to its sauna. Since 1995, the swimming pool has even been on the city of Wuppertal's list of listed buildings. Our Q-Park car park City Plaza is located a few minutes away from the Schwimmoper. From Monday to Saturday between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., our maximum daily parking fee is only 8 euros.
