The New Palace in Stuttgart was built between 1746 and 1807. It was commissioned by the kings and dukes of Württemberg and was intended to serve as a residential palace after completion. Together with the Schlossplatz and the Old Palace, it forms the centre of the city. The three-winged palace was built in the Baroque style. Today, the side wings house the Ministry of Finance. In the cellar vaults you can see a collection of provincial Roman stone monuments. The Q-Park Galeria Kaufhof is within walking distance of the New Palace and offers the perfect parking space for your car during a visit.
