Alter Kran

Built in 1797, the Old Crane is a historic harbor crane at the former Ilmenau Harbor in Lüneburg. At that time, it was one of the most powerful cranes in the whole of northern Germany, but nowadays it only characterizes the image of the water district and is considered one of the most important landmarks of the city.
