Benrath Palace, built between 1755 and 1773, is located in the Benrath district of the state capital Düsseldorf. To this day, Benrath Palace is one of Düsseldorf's special architectural masterpieces. The palace was built by order of Elector Karl Theodor von der Pfalz as a widow's residence for Electress Elisabeth Auguste.
