The centre of Darmstadt is Luisenplatz. The square used to be the political centre of the Grand Duchy of Hesse. Where the old palace once stood is now the Luisencenter. Parts of the town hall are housed in it. The Ludwig Monument stands in the middle of the square. It commemorates the first Hessian constitution in 1820. Nowadays Luisenplatz is car-free. Our Q-Park car parks are located in the immediate vicinity of Luisenplatz. There you can quickly and conveniently park your car for a walk through Darmstadt.
