Haus der Geschichte

After reconstruction between 1986 and 1992, it was created: the new House of History. The original building was built in 1817 in the classicist style. It used to house a court and regional theatre. Unfortunately, the building took a lot of damage from the Second World War. Nowadays, the building houses the Hessian State Archives. Some historical societies and other archives also find their place in the House of History. Our Q-Park car parks are located in the immediate vicinity of the Haus der Geschichte.
