Hofgarten

The Hofgarten is the main public park in the heart of Dusseldorf. It is located in the two districts Stadtmitte and Pempelfort with a total area of approx. 27 hectares. 13 hectares are meadow areas. In addition to a generous amount of green space, you will find numerous historical monuments and modern sculptures throughout the Hofgarten. Since the oldest part of the park was laid out in 1769, it is Germany's first and oldest public garden.
